Heyward Community Park Reservations

Park Shelters Rental Policies & Procedures

 

  • Persons must be 18+ years of age to rent facilities and 21+ years of age to obtain an alcohol permit.

  • A deposit of $100.00 is required for cleanup on all park rentals.

  • Application and full payment must be submitted at least seven (14) days prior to the scheduled date. Failure to do so can result in forfeit of your Contract Agreement. Deposit will be refunded within 5 business days in the form of a check. NO CASH will be issued.

  • Every effort is made to have facilities clean. If there are any problems please call the emergency contact phone number listed on your permit.

  • Public events require additional applications, forms, and fees.

Shelter Facility Rentals Fees & Charges

 

  • Athletics Field Fee

Heyward Community Park offers athletic fields for the public to rent, which includes a softball and baseball diamond, tennis court, sand volleyball court, football field and 2 basketball courts. An application must be submitted before fees can be determined.

  • Special Areas Fee

Heyward Community Park offers formal accommodations for special occasions and all areas in the park can be rented out for the occasion. An application must be submitted before fees can be determined.

Park Hours

Normal Operational Hours are from (8:00 AM to 6:00 PM October - March), (8:00 AM to 8:00 PM April - September). However, a shelter is rented for a total of 8 hours (8:00am to 4:00 pm). 

 

Clean up must be completed and shelter vacant by 4:00 PM. Additional fees will be assessed if shelter is still occupied after 4:00 PM.

Available for scheduled events year-round.
